On July 5, 2023, Sarawak Shell Bhd awarded a contract to Brooke Holding Sdn Bhd, formerly known as Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corporation. The project is scheduled to begin on December 5, 2023. This contract includes the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of Fixed Offshore Structure Works for the F6 VLAP Compression Project.

The completion of the F6 VLAP project represents a significant milestone, as it is the third compression module constructed by Brooke, following the St. Joseph GRS compression module for Sabah Shell and the BAKP-B module for Petronas Carigali. The F6 VLAP project is notable for being the heaviest and tallest topside ever built by Brooke Holding Sdn Bhd, weighing 3,020 metric tons and standing 49 meters high.

Additionally, we take pride in our strong QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) performance. The F6 VLAP project has recorded 2.9 million Lost Time Injury (LTI) Free Exposure Hours, achieved 764 Quality Zero Defect Days, and maintained a Zero Punch List.
