Installation for the South Furious-30 (SF30) Water Flood Phase 2 Project

SEA Hibiscus Sdn. Bhd., an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad, awarded a contract to Brooke Holding Sdn Bhd, formerly known as Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corporation on December 30, 2022, with commencement on January 16, 2023. The contract encompassed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Onshore pre-commissioning & commissioning, and Offshore Transportation and Installation for the South Furious-30 (SF30) Water Flood Phase 2 Project. Adjacent to the SFJT-C platform is the SFJT-D Platform. Situated 205 km northeast of Labuan Island in the waters of Northwest Sabah, placed at a water depth of 18.8 meters, SFJT-D platform is a Not Normally Manned Wellhead Platform (WHP) engineered to manage increased production and transport to the SFP-A processing platform
afterwards via the SFJT-C export header and subsea pipelines. The SFJT-D platform features a template-type 4-legged jacket substructure with piles driven inside or through its legs, weighing a total of 412 metric tons. The topside of the platform includes a Wellhead Module, refurbished from the decommissioned Tanjong Baram
platform topside, and fitted with a new drilling deck extension and weighs 259 MT The Module Support Frame consist of four level decks: – Cellar Deck, Main Deck, Mezzanine Deck and Upper Deck, weighing a total of 888 MT. The Wellhead Module was integrated onshore using a heavy lift crane to set down onto the Module Support Frame
(MSF), forming the Integrated Topside with a total weight of 1,147 metric tons. The SFJT-D platform has completed its onshore scope for the substructure and piles, with the Jacket sail away occurring on May 18, 2024, and the Topside sail away on May 28, 2024. The pre-commissioning and commissioning were completed, ensuring full functionality of the platform before the sail away. Brooke Holding achieved completion of the onshore fabrication in just 6 months, followed by the overall completion of EPCI in an exceptional 12 months.
