Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corporation is delighted to announce the appointment of Yang Berbahagia Datu Haji Safri Bin Zainudin as the Board Chairman of Brooke Dockyard with effect from 1st January 2021.

He is replacing Yang Berbahagia Datuk Abang Haji Abdul Karim Bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, who completed his tenure on 31st December 2020, after 24 years serving as the Board Chairman of Brooke Dockyard.

Datu Haji Safri Zainudin was the Deputy Chairman of Brooke Dockyard since May 2009.

He is currently the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Port Development, Sarawak.

Datu Haji Safri roles are to continue to consolidate and build on our strong track record and deliver further growth by securing more projects and to explore new collaborative initiatives.

His experience in handling projects and management combined with his proven ability at identifying opportunities, developing partnership and leading initiatives, will contribute to the Corporation’s continued success.

Under his leadership, wisdom and guidance, Brooke Dockyard will strive to achieve greater heights in an exciting future.
