Today,marks another milestone for Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corporation where the Contract Signing Ceremony of EPCC of South Acis Satellite (SA-SA) Topside for Sarawak SK309/311 SPSA Development Project was held between Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corporation and Murphy Sarawak Oil Corporation.
The contract was awarded to Brooke Dockyard by Murphy Sarawak Oil Corporation (MOC) with the scope of works covering detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
SA-SA Topside is a satellite platform in the South Acis Field located in Block SK311, approximately 17 km form West Patricia at depth 35m, located at offshore Bintulu.
SA-SA consists of 8 conductors and triple surface trees that will provide up to a maximum of 24 well slots. All the slots include 9 slots for oil producers, 5 slots for water injectors, 1 well slot for a gas producer and 9 slot spare for future wells. Total tonnage is approximately 850 Matrix Tonne.
The onshore Mechanical Completion date (MCD) is on 15 February 2016 and targeted to be loaded out and sail away in March 2016 to offshore Bintulu.
At the signing ceremony,Brooke Dockyard was represented by Chairman, Datuk Abang Haji Abdul Karim while Murphy Sarawak was represented by Mr Harry Howard, Vice President.
It was witnessed by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Haji Adenan Satem.Also in attendance was Dato’ Sri Michael Manyin anak Jawong, Minister of Infrastructure Development and Communications and Minister in-charge of Brooke Dockyard.
Apart from the contract signing ceremony, the Chief Minister also witnessed the exchange of MOU documents between Booke Dockyard and two of technical partners.
The first MOU exchange was with Perunding Ranhill Worley to undertake fledge EPCIC contract for marginal filed solution. The second was a cooperation agreement exchange with MEO Australia Pte Ltd (E&P company) to undertake a field exploration and development contract.
